Focus on “grassroots development” – educate children, eradicate hunger and poverty, create awareness or healthy lifestyle and improved living conditions.

Objectives of the VEDS

• To improve the quality of life of women and marginalized people through Human Rights education & awareness and provision of health care services.
• To provide Vocational Training to increase employment opportunities for the youth, adolescent girls and women and promote Income Generating Programs.
• Evolve programs for education at primary levels and Non-formal Education for school dropouts, out of school children, working children, adolescent girls and adults.
• To promote environment sanitation and safe drinking water.
• To improve the sexual and reproductive health and rights, including maternal health care, family planning TB and HIV/AIDS services, of the poorest and most marginalized people.
• To increase knowledge among people regarding the preventive methods of HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB and Cancer other diseases and thus make efforts to combat the spread of various diseases.
• Create Environmental Awareness and undertake environment improvement activities like agro-forestry, agro-horticulture, soil and water conservation, sustainable agriculture development, watershed management, etc.
• To change the behaviour of addicts through harm reduction and Detoxification and rehabilitate them to normal life and also to improve their quality of life by providing them basic health services.
• To establish, run and maintain education institutions of all types.
• To establish, run and maintain homes for aged and orphans.
• To collaborate with other institutions, associations and societies in India and Abroad interest in similar objectives.
